The variable speed trigger provides optimum speed control of the powerful 7,000 RPM free-running pneumatic motor that can generate up to 400ft-lb of torque. The twin hammer mechanism design is covered with a protective steel case to prevent accidental damage and delivers balanced yet hard-hitting blows to help remove fasteners with less jarring in the hands of the operator. The 2-inch extended anvil allows the driver to use flip sockets and have easy access to deep tire wells without requiring an additional extension bar. The rear-mounted, easy-glide forward/reverse switch makes switching modes a quick and one-handed task. The wrench is compatible with 1/2-inch square drive impact sockets, extensions, torque sticks, and accessories. A 1/4-inch NPT threaded inlet in the handle connects the tool to standard 3/8-inch inner diameter compressed air lines. A protective rubber boot covers the tool's upper assembly from the rear of the wrench and over the hammer case to the base of the anvil.
